Fast Genetic Drift

2019-01-20 00:00:00 +0800

Advancing humans by modifying their genes led to a fatal mistake for humanity. The idea was to create a “good virus” that would accelerate the modifications in genes, to make modifications of beings already born. It was supposed to stay in labs, and targeting only specific individuals.

It spread out of control. Fast enough to be tragic, slow enough to go unnoticed while the virus spread. Over a mere 20 years, the genetic code of each individual human drifted so much from the others that they could hardly live with others, let alone reproduce. Like Horses and frogs.
