Other's Judgement

2019-01-04 00:00:00 +0800

Don’t easily trust other’s people judgement, especially if they haven’t done what you want to do.

If you are affraid that you lack common sense, study mental models and basic concepts from math, physics, psychology, finance, business plus whatever field revolves around your activites. That doesn’t mean you can’t ask people their optinions on things, but decide if it is useful for you regardless of the person.

If you are new to something and don’t know how to advance, just follow the advice for begginers. Then you have a reference point to make better decisions.

Note that judgement isn’t feedback. Feedback may be acted upon.

Praise is judgement. It may feel good but it’s not a clear indicator that you are doing something useful for others, unlike money or just having users.
